# Settings Menu - Overview Workspaces Tab

A workspace represents a specific operational setup in Filed. Firms may use multiple workspaces when working with different tax software or managing separate office locations.

## Finding the Workspaces Tab

Navigate to the lower-left corner of the Home page and click the **Settings** icon to access the Workspaces tab.

## Workspaces Overview

The Workspaces page displays all available workspaces, with the currently active workspace clearly indicated. Users can switch between workspaces and update workspace details including software credentials.

## Creating a New Workspace

1. Click the **Create new workspace** button at the top of the Workspaces page.
2. Follow the instructions to enter the workspace name, tax software, and PMS/DMS information (integrations can be set up later).
