Filed prioritizes data security using Microsoft Azure's secure servers that meet federal security and compliance standards. The infrastructure matches that used by the U.S. Department of Defense.

## Compliance & Certifications

* **SOC 2 compliant** with audits conducted by Schellman, a respected independent assessor
* Adheres to **IRS Publication 4557** and relevant guidelines for taxpayer data protection
* All sensitive documents and PII are anonymized before processing

## Key Security Features

**Data Encryption**

Bank-level encryption protects all data in transit and at rest.

**PII Protection**

Personal information is anonymized before processing to prevent visibility to AI models or internal staff.

**Third-Party Integration Security**

All connections use secure, encrypted protocols and industry-standard authentication to protect integrations with tax software and document storage providers.

**Access Controls**

Access is restricted to authorized firm users and necessary Filed support staff. All access is logged and monitored.

**AI Model Training**
