# Settings menu overview — AI Tax Prep tab

The AI TaxPrep page allows firms to set a firm-specific rule that allows or disallows returns to be automatically run and sent to your tax software without manual effort after the import of source docs.

## Accessing the AI TaxPrep Settings

1. Log into Filed and navigate to **Home**.
2. Click the **Settings** icon in the lower-left corner.
3. Select **AI Taxprep** from the available options list.

## Features on the AI TaxPrep Page

The configuration page includes:

* **Automatic Sending Toggle** — Enables automatic return processing and draft transmission to integrated tax software.
* **Rules Display** — Shows existing rules under the "Assertion" column.
* **Enabled Column** — Indicates which rules are currently active.
* **Edit/Delete Icons** — Allows modification or removal of existing rules.
* **+ Create Rule Button** — Opens an interface to establish new rules.

## Creating Custom Rules
