# Should I upload K-1s to Filed if they are already imported directly in CCH Axcess?

If K-1s are already imported directly in CCH Axcess through the import functionality, you should **not** upload them again to Filed, as this risks duplicating data entry efforts.

## Two Recommended Approaches

**Option 1: Exclude K-1s Within Filed**

Navigate to the Forms view in the AI Tax Prep workflow, locate the K-1 documents, and select **Exclude** before running Tax Prep. Filed will skip processing those forms.

**Option 2: Don't Upload K-1 Files**

The simplest method is to refrain from including K-1 PDFs when uploading source documents to Filed initially, preventing any processing attempts.

## Handling Checklist Flags

If Filed's Checklist flags missing K-1s, there's no cause for concern. Since the data already exists in your accounting software, you may either ignore the flag or mark it as reviewed to clear the notification — neither action impacts Tax Prep functionality.
