# Pre-entry notes tab overview

The Pre-Entry Notes tab will show the forms and screens that AI has detected from the uploaded document file, including potential issues, missing documents, and excluded documents.

## How to Find the Pre-Entry Notes Tab

From the home screen, click the AI Tax Prep icon, then select the client by clicking the arrow next to the client name.

## Tab Description

There are 5 tabs; Pre-Entry Notes is the third. The tab displays potential issues, missing documents, and excluded documents determined by Filed's AI.

## Three Filter Options

1. **All Issues** (in green) — filterable for form issues with logic explanations
2. **Missing documents** — viewable with reasoning for expected uploads
3. **Excluded documents** — documents deemed unnecessary (duplicates, superseded versions like corrected W2s)
